Time to take the covers off of my little citrus saplings before they blow away.

Oh no.... hope those little saplings make it thru the storm.

A tiny flying insect called the Asian Psyllid destroyed the FL citrus industry and is in the process of doing the same in CA. The Univ. of FL developed a new citrus variety, and recommends keeping the saplings covered with insect netting for two years. The netting is not hurricane strong. Heck, it is not really raccoon strong either, as evidenced by the scratches and runs in the netting. But we’re trying!
