I remember years ago in Manhattan, a new high rise off Central Park and 5th Avenue, cost a fortune to live there. Due to DeBlasio’s policy of spreading the homeless and welfare recipients around the city, part of the new tower was to be set aside as basically free rent for the homeless. The wealthy purchasers went into an unproar and arranged for a separate entrance around the corner on a side street with separate elevator for the homeless and welfare recipient residents so they didn’t have to mix with them.
The Governor of NY could bring in a couple old cruise ships and stick them at some dock. Those cruise ships can hold thousands of passengers and crew.
