So why did DeSantis turn down a golden opportunity to do just that?
He does all the time and in ways that matter. He actually gets anti-left bills passed, he does actual things not just easy tough talk.
The Desantis haters either are ignorant of his acts as Governor or ignore them.
Such as:
“ Under HB 999, schools cannot spend money to “promote, support, or maintain any programs or campus activities” that violate the Stop WOKE Act or “espouse diversity, equity, and inclusion or critical race theory rhetoric.” This means that student groups and the events they organize may come under greater scrutiny.”
And
