I think we already had a pretty good idea that’s the case.

Too bad. I seriously believed that 2028 would be DeSantis’ year. He couldn’t just wait FOUR F—CKING YEARS? To be able to run this time, he had no choice but to sell his soul. I thought he had core principles re the Constitution, loyalty, conservatism but he doesn’t. If they’re “core”, you can’t chuck them in a day or week. Which he did.

LOL, I was giving him the benefit of the doubt.

Instead of having the “resign to run” law changed to his benefit, he should have finished the last 2 years of his term in Florida, doing his best for the state and its people. Then he would have had 2 years to fine tune his public image and build grass-roots support instead of running to the monied elite. He needs to convince the voters that he is something more than just being anti-Trump. That would be much easier for him in 2028.
