I’m familiar with the concept but still stand by what I said. Not only have Americans long had a “cult of personality” for Washington, but many had a “cult of personality” for Churchill during WWII. The expression “cult of personality” was used (invented) by Khruschev relative to Stalin. People who bear no resemblance to Stalin include Washington, Lincoln, Churchill, Reagan and Trump, even if the silly words “cult of personality” might be applied to each.
1) no Larry Elder, even though he qualified.
2) Ramasmarmy came off the best last night. DeSanctis came off ok but not great. No breakout moment.
3) you are a known Anti- and NeverTrumper. That alone requires due diligence and verification of anything you post.
Dan Bongino said Vivek won and that DeSantis failed badly.
The electability argument is a fraudulent one...
Its the go to argument the establishment trots out every time the electorate doesn’t follow their script.
Trump is the only candidate who has ANY shot at winning in the general election.
Why? Simple, he is the ONLY person to grow their support by over 17% while in office... there is NO ONE in the history of this country who got elected to the presidency who increased their vote totals in their re-election bid by 17%+ where there first election was not a 3 way race... NOBODY...
NOT Clinton, not Obama, not Nixon, not Bush, not Reagan, not FDR... NO ONE ELSE can make that claim. The only president to grow his support by that amount in 1 term ever... But he’s unelectable?
The unelectable were on the stage last night, not a single one of them has any shot at winning a national election.
Rust Belt, lastest poll of those states showed Trump beating Biden by 7 points... Desantis? Losses to Biden. Folks need to wake up to the “electability” lie....
Reality is if Trump can’t win, NO REPUBLICAN CAN WIN, PERIOD.

Trump’s base is far larger than the GOP base, those conservative democrats, and moderates and disenfranchised that Trump brought to the table, they sure as hell are not going to show up for any other Republican.... So you can take Trump’s vote totals of more than 74 Million votes, and you are going to see the GOP candidate if its anyone else be around 60 Million at most.
GOP was an active participant in the fraud of 2020... You believe that Joe Biden got 19 Million more votes than Hillary Clinton or 22 Million more than Obama, you are naive.
Trump got nearly 25% more votes than ANY OTHER REPUBLICAN NOMINEE IN HISTORY in 2016.. but he can’t win?
Folks need to wake up, No other candidate running with an R beside his name will net more than 60-65 Million votes on their best day.
Sorry that should be more than 25% more votes than any republican in history in 2020.

Sorry, but with these arrests DeSantis HAD A CHANCE to stand out and support Trump. He chose otherwise, to side with the DNC/Soros/Fanni Willis/the Neocons/Chris Christie/ and the Deep State.
So, no, DeSantis WILL NOT ever be president, at least until enough Trump voters die off. DeSantis chose a side regarding the Trump arrests, and he chose poorly - so he’s through.
But others still can be, if they simply choose to DEFEND Trump against this obvious railroading - that.

That’s what makes me wonder about DeSantis - how he thought he could be successful without Trump voters.

I can only guess is he thinks trump won’t be able to run.
