I confusingly was referring to the TWA Flight 800 controversy. Clancy, now long dead, went with the excuse that the missile was fired from the ground, not from the barge offshore that witnesses described——followed by swift government coverup.
I'll bet we have thousands of people on the cover up payroll for all the times we have to do this.
