A plane carrying notorious warlord Yevgeny Prigozhin, whose Wagner group launched a failed coup against president Vladimir Putin in June, has crashed on a flight from Moscow to St Petersburg.
All 10 people on the plane, including three crew members, died in the crash, Russia’s emergency ministry said, according to state newswire RIA Novosti.
Russian officials said a man with Prigozhin’s name was among the passengers, without elaborating further.
SkyNews using Christopher Steele as an "expert" in their article lofl.
Not your fault, btw.
Well, that is one way to say it. Another way to say it would be that he was thrown out
I disagree strongly. He had succession plans, they are sitting on a pile of cash, they can (at least attempt to) project power nearly anywhere but the EU and US, certainly any 3rd-world country.
Belarus didn't kill him, Putlim did. Belarus has treated Wagner better than Gorby was handled in his multi-million dollar dacha in Foros, Crimea.
More to the point Prigozhin had dead-man's switches that will kick off sequentially, information dumps that Putlim won't be able to get his chemo-scarred arms around.

In my defense they have updated the story multiple times since I posted the link, the text I included was all that was there when I posted.
A more exciting death than hanging in a cell like Jeffrey Epstein did.
You’d think Putin would have The Clintoons handle matters. Hill knows how to be discreet in such matters.
Sure, make a deal with Putin.
Darth Putin @DarthPutinKGB
Prigozhin fell from the window of a falling plane. I wanted to make sure.
Yup, SkyNews does that and yet they don't immediately identify the piece as a 'live timeline' as DailyMail does.
The possibilities are endless. A pizza shop that never seems to go out of business despite always being empty. He it’ll be interesting to see if he’s dead, or if this is his vanishing act.
Of course, Occam‘s razor, combined with aircraft maintenance in Russia, combined with parts being hard to get in sanction world. It’s not exactly unthinkable it could be a straight up crash of a private jet. Aviation safety is it best sketchy over there. Hell, even the president of Poland was killed in an accident that would’ve never happened in the United States due to extremely poor pilot decisions, and the woefully substandard airport.
The Russian version of Arkancide.
Down here #91
Putin uses gravity to eliminate political opponents. Democrats use the DOJ, the FBI, and our fascist media.
In my neck of the woods it’d be the Subway shop. I don’t even know of any pizza place that’s closed in the last 20 years, tho’ a couple have moved. All seem to do ok or better.
Reportedly a 2nd similar passenger plane was following, and turned back. IF true, make of it what you will.
This was Priggy’s private jet. I’d expect him to be able to afford decent mechanics. Plus smuggle in parts. And few planes catch fire and simultaneously abruptly plummet from the sky. (Impressive vid, BTW.) But mechanical failure is still a possibility. Planned mechanical failure seems more likely. If it really was a shootdown, Pooty is certainly showing his ass, and may regret it.
It could even be an internal Wagner dispute, too, but Wagner’s men were pretty loyal to Prigozhin.
So early on, I’m inclined to go by the old saying “If it walks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck”...
Can NATO AWACS see a missile (S-300?) launch in that area?
IDIOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
he could have overthrown Putin!
you would think people with half a brain would know better by now!!!
Putin wont stop until he has reassembled the old soviet union!
I cant believe we missed our shot to take him out because this guy was too stupid to know what would happen if he didn’t follow through!
Oh, sure.
Prigozhin suffered from gravity cancer.
If Pooty sent his air force in numbers against the Wagner mutiny, that Wagner force would have been decimated. Just like Wagner vs. the US in Syria, but on a much larger scale.
Best bet might have been for Wagner to occupy some areas where they had popular support, then see if Pooty would level a few of his own towns and a city or two. My guess is “yes”. But the Russian forces might botch it up and not succeed quickly, which might give time for revulsion to build elsewhere in Russia. Lots of ifs. Lots of dead Wagner soldiers.
No disagreement on Pooty’s eventual intentions, though.
Uh huh.
I’m not surprised. He made himself some enemies inside the Kremlin. with his video rants and coup attempt.
