Dick's lost me as a customer after screwing customers who had purchased AR-15 rifles and Dick's refused to deliver the purchase to the customer. The first round of stupid wokism. They need to lose the apostrophe. That would be a more honest name. I won't shed a tear when their retail space goes vacant. It started as Sportsman's Warehouse before the Pocatello location closed and then re-opened in a smaller retail footprint.

Maybe they should market more to the Trans LGBTQXYZ demographic.
It helped Target and Bud.

“Dick’s never stopped selling firearms. “
Ours in Beavercreek, Ohio has stopped selling firearms. I checked a few weeks ago when I was at the mall.

“I’ve noticed Academy Sports sells the same items for much less (at least golf clothes). And you can purchase fun firearms at Academy.”
I registered on Academy’s website and got some good deals on some clothes. A couple weeks later they sent me a “Happy Pride Month” email. They lost a customer who, over the years, has spent thousands and thousands of dollars on guns and ammunition in their stores. Idiots.

Exactly, I needed a duffel bag for a long trip I was taking, my old one had split after 20 years of use. I went into Dicks, as it was on the way to the airport. It looked like a trendy store catering to the expensive workout clothing market. Camping gear and sports duffel bags were non existent. Crap, I went into home depot and bought some duct tape. problem solved.

No sympathy since they stopped selling firearms years ago. The moral of the story: Don't Be a Dick('s)

I had a gift card from Dick’s. I wandered around in the store for 45 minutes and couldn’t find anything work buying except some socks. I miss the old Sports Authorities that closed.

That’s the debate on talk radio today.
Of course, though theft is likely just a diversion from their policies, most are hoping it’s the straw that breaks the camel’s back.
