MNDude “The descendents if the Hebrews are long gone or the bloodlines are so diluted they’re irrelevant. The average Palestinian has more Biblicsl Hebrew blood than most white skinned Israelis do. Do you say someone is blessed simply because they reject Christ?

The Israel people achieved God’s purpose to bring us Christ.”

A mish-mash of thoughts there, MN

1. The descendants of the Hebrews or let’s say simply the people who came with Moses are still there - not “long gone”

2. “The bloodlines are so diluted” - true, but your “the average palestinian has more...” is not true genetically. Let me explain:
a. Many Jews spread and I would say that everyone from Cochin (India) to Ireland has some “Hebrew” genes in them.
b. Those who still consider themselves ethnic Jews are, genetically, still heavily “Hebrew”. They have other genes, but not the majority.
c. “white skinned Israelis” — but many Israelis are NOT white skinned - many are Mizrahis, Yemeni and Iraqi and Moroccan, Ethiopian etc. Jews. They definitely are not “white skinned” — the average Israeli “Jew” (whether religious or not) is about the same level of brown as the average “Palestinian” — remember that the Palestinians are also a mixed group of slightly Nejdi Arabs (true Arabs) mixed with Egyptians (Arabized), Syriacs (who themselves are a hodge-podge of Assyrians, Amorites, Phoenicians, Greeks, Persians, Italics, etc. etc.)

“Some is blessed simply” — I agree with you that that is a silly statement for a Christian to say, but then the dispensationalists are on the border of being Christian.

The Israeli people’s purpose yes was to bring us Christ, but more critically I see this as God expanding his “family” - from 1 man - Abraham, to a family, to a clan, to a tribe, to a nation and to the whole world.

2 Thessalonians 1:1-6
“brothers and sisters…among God’s churches…since it is just for God to repay with affliction those who afflict you”

God was not joking when he made the statement. 20 years after this Bible verse was written, the Romans absolutely devastated Israel. It was obvious who God stands with, the Bride of christ. Jesus even said he could create more sons of Abraham out of the rocks. That is how valuable that is to him, rocks. He gave the life of his only son for his beloved church. Everything else is just a footnote of History.
