Back when Newt Gingrich was just getting his feet wet as Speaker of the House, the press launched a campaign to brand him a "bomb thrower."
It was a overreaching narrative-making on their part, and probably coming from the Clinton camp, but there was a bit of truth in it: Newtron always goes where no flaccid, cowardly RINO dares to tread.
Now he's got a doozy.

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich revealed on Thursday that a reliable source told him that a request was made from Washington, D.C., to Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis that she had to bring charges against former President Donald Trump because they needed a distraction from the “screw up” with recently appointed Special Counsel David Weiss.
“I am told—this is hearsay—but I am told by a reliable source, that Friday evening, somebody from Washington called the district attorney in Atlanta and said, ‘You have to indict on Monday. We have to cover up all of the mistakes we just made with Weiss,’” Gingrich told Charlie Kirk in an interview. “And she said, apparently, ‘My jurors aren’t coming back till Tuesday,’ and they said, ‘You didn’t hear me. You have to indict on Monday,’ And she said, ‘Well, they’re not gonna get here before noon.’ They said, ‘That doesn’t matter.’ She says, ‘This means it’s going to be eight or nine or 10 o’clock at night.’ They said, ‘It doesn’t matter.”“Who made that phone call?” asked Kirk.
“We don’t know,” Gingrich said. “And that’s why I’m telling you upfront, this is hearsay, but it’s from a person who has remarkably good sources.”

The real bombshell is that creates a prima facie case for Gov. Kemp to begin the process to remove Willis and dismiss the indictments by invoking Senate Bill 92. But Gov. Kemp has remained silent.
Who counts the grand jury votes? Is it a show of hands? Secret ballot?

I’m not surprised. The Fulton County DA has a low 2 digit IQ and is only in the position because Soros bought it. Indictment was produced by Smith and Meritless in DC and sent to the clueless clerk who posted it immediately instead of waiting for the Grand Jury give out a true bill. Seeing the Grand Jury fore-person on TV gives you a hint on the quality of the Grand Jury.
Kemp is a RINO of the first water and will only act if its in HIS own best interests. Lots of things going to happen in the next six months! Be ready for a wild roller Coaster ride. My bet, Trump will be dead in six months—one way or another. BUT he will be more powerful dead than alive. He has become an idea, and its hard to stop an idea. MAGA will live on.
a tweet or instagram msg (whatever) was shown on Fox while they were “live” waiting on the indictment to be announced. it had a “juror” or “clerk” (whatever) noting they’d been called in urgently and saying they were moving ahead of plans (whatever).

This articl omits the corroborating evidence of the timeline, namely 1. The grand jury was not scheduled to meet again until Tuesday; 2. she told “whoever” no way GJ could convene until noon Monday even with special call back 3. By the time the proceedings had been rail-roaded through, it was late evening, leading to her 4. 11 PM press conference, which should have raised all sorts of questions, and no doubt did, but thy were suppressed, in the usual corruptocrat manner.

I always thought that Gingrich was more flaccid then he needed to be. He never seemed to willing to stand up and call out the lies in a forthright manner that I thought it deserved. Pretending that your opponent is honorable but wrong when they are basically accusing you of eating babies is a losing strategy.
I said over and over before the summer of 2020; “the Democrats are so desperate to try to beat Trump, when they cheat it will be so sloppy, and worse than 2016, that everyone will see it”. And it came to pass and the idiots in the swing states practically told people they were cheating, but the Demonrats and the media just told the people; “There was no cheating, are you going to believe us or your lying eyes”. And now it’s the same as saying Mr. Obama wasn’t a US citizen, and his identification documents were complete forgeries, you will be ridiculed, sued and prosecuted.
They might have helped set up the witnesses, but they’d have had to be Georgians with personal knowledge of actual events. It takes time just to find them, and arrange them in such a way as to shape her fake narrative.

You can’t just whip up an indictment over a weekend. Grand juries have to hear testimony, and the DA has to present a case. Even a crazy, illegitimate case such as Willis’ takes time to set up. They might have told her to hurry it up, but there is no way she could have started and finished an indictment over a weekend.

You completly missed the point here. It isn’t like the grand jury hadn’t met to hear the case yet. This has been going on for months. They had the counts drafted before this began.
The question wasn’t IF he would be indicted, it was WHEN. They needed it to be now and they got what they wanted. Period.

This needs to proved beyond a shadow of doubt.
Then the DOJ can cover it up and Republicans can lie kicking on their backs like a bunch of dying roaches.
Status quo continues.
If that’s what Gingrich meant, it would make sense.
In my humble opinion, that is what he was saying. Get it out NOW to take Biden off the news cycle again.
They did it 3 times before as well.
