He’s a puppet. Just look at his campaign and the talking points for the upcoming debate that leaked. Give me a break.

Or you can look at his conservative accomplishments.

But Trumpers won't. They'll go crack open a Bud Light and support a NY liberal and proven loser.

He’s right! How does a nihilistic group effectively plan to form a majority, win an election & govern, let alone lead an enduring movement that can be handed to future leaders and generations. At present, they are attacking all other conservatives & openly stating that they don’t care about winning an election because they don’t believe elections are fair. I think ways too many Trumpers have bought in to class warfare, working class hero BS. Winning elections matters. Attracting voters matters. Creating something that lasts matters. For the last decade or two before Trump we had the establishment & they obviously sucked. Since 2016, we’ve had Trumpism, which is losing because of its own nihilism & lack of discipline. Neither have succeeded and that’s a fact. Trumpers are becoming almost as tough to listen to as establishment types. Both are marinating in bitterness and loss and warring against one another
Both have become disappointments and refuse to change. Neither should be trusted to lead. We need a new conservative voice to rally behind. There are aspects to America First that should remain and be championed by us- immigration reduction, focus on American worker, trade that benefits our citizens, opposition to political correctness & opposition to international organizations. But we have got to move beyond Trump!! 😑🫣

Ooomg 🤣🤣🤣 What exactly sounded ‘high and mighty’? That I’d like to win elections or that I think it might be intelligent to have a political movement that revolves around more than one guy? What is a Trans-Republican BTW? 😬🤔

“I’ve been fighting the Republican establishment my whole career.” Ron really made that claim?
Uhh, Ron? That big bulge in your wallet says differently.

Methinks DeSantis must actually be a Trump supporter, cuz he is doing everything he can to make sure he doesn’t get nominated and Trump does.

"lol - this is what I meant when I said he’s one of the worst campaigners I have ever seen."

Personally, I've seen worse. A lot worse.

Of course, anyone captivated by the bombast that is Donald Trump's claim to fame will see anyone else as lackluster, even when that is often a disadvantage. I find the blind cult worship of Trump to be no less and no better than the same blind adoration that followed Obama for eight dreadful years. They are cut from the same cloth.

Given the compulsive prejudice in such people against anyone and anything that is even perceived to slightly work contrary to Trump, DeSantis could be the second coming of Christ and he'd still suffer such non-stop brickbats. Then again, that's how prejudice works.

Everyone adores Trump for all the good he did while in office. With the exception of his judicial appointments, and thank God for them, it turned out most of that was nothing more than smoke, and was undone within weeks of Biden being appointed to the throne. DeSantis' work, being done through legislation, is doing considerable good and is much longer lasting. But the brain-dead Trump groupies here have nothing but disdain and childish insults for the man. It is completely without honor.

As I've said before, I wish DeSantis had not tossed his hat into the ring. Trump wants to be POTUS again, I say let him have it. I'd look forward to four years of bedlam, after which someone like DeSantis could then step in and finish the job more decisively, assuming the United States is still intact.

Ultimately, though, as I've been saying for years now, none of this stupid backbiting and infighting is going to amount to a hill of beans, since the Deep State and it's massive vote-fraud machine will never allow another Republican to hold high office again. Bank on it.

The GOP base is rapidly becoming dominated by drama queens. They are addicted to “The Days of Our Trump” and reject the entire idea of actually winning and governing.

It’s not Ron DeSantis shaking down small donors for contributions and giving 2/3 of it away to his legal team.

The Trump Kamikaze Kaucus is all about going down with the ship. Trump and his grifters know they maintain control over the GOP by shaking down donors to pay his lawyers while running a campaign where he spends no money on actual campaigning, but is punctuated by a few of his groupie rallies in swing districts like Pulaski, Mississippi.

When he inevitably loses he will claim that he was cheated. Rinse and repeat
