Good Lord. It is an island. It is surrounded by water. They should’ve already figured out a large desal plant or something
It appears that the town was built right on the beach. It seems to me that responsible, forward thinking townsfolk would have, at not too drastic an expense, installed a pump and pipe system for fire fighting. No need to desal that water.
