So, if going into the primary, and Trump is in the 50-60% range, while desantis is aroun 10%...

And desantis wins....

Would anyone really believe desantis won in a legitimate election?

At this same point in 2015 - over a year before the 2016 election, just as we are now over a year before the 2024 election, Trump was polling 12% in the Republican race, trailing Jeb Bush. As we all know, he went on to win the nomination.

Things can change fast in presidential primary politics. Let's see where we are when the primaries begin and end. I'll vote for whoever the Republican primaries end up nominating - anyone who would willingly let Biden and his cronies remain in office rather than choose a Republican they don't like is no conservative.

This is a lie and propaganda that desantis supporters/nevertrumpers continue to push to gaslight FR.

The 2024 election is not the same as the 2016.

Trump is running as if he’s a sucessful incumbent president, where as there was no republican incumbent in 2016.

Trump is not going to lose support, no matter how many times they indict him.

And the GOPe uniparty supporters and nevertrumpers aren’t going to be able to push the saying

‘vote for whoever the republican is, because any republican is better than any democrat’

simply isn’t true anymore

desanctimonious is going to continue to lose support, as more and more people get to know him.

The problem with the desantis campaign is desantis, and nothing will change that.
