The problem is that you are the one they insist is not supposed to have a gun. Did you commit a crime with a gun? That does not really matter to the Democrats.

Democrats have no problem with guns, as long as they and their minions are the only ones who have them.

I would take your proposal about public hangings and revise it to be a bit more specific and limited in the targets. Like actual criminals who have assaulted, robbed, or killed people with guns. We might want to have an actual trial and conviction first, like we did when we had that "rule of law" thing. After that? Sure - hang 'em high.
