Gerry Connolly (D-VA) stated that “Hunter Biden’s being subjected here to a level of, not only scrutiny, but accountability, that most mere mortals would not.” And “Often,” people in public life “get no corners cut at all. They’re going to have the book thrown at them,” while also arguing that Attorney General Merrick Garland is “ensuring objectivity and fairness and transparency in the process.”

Weiss and Garland had to rule the Laptop is off-limits to Investigators - because there’s 30 Felonies on it.
In fact, people doing the type of deals that Hunter did with the Chinese, but on a much smaller scale, got charged with International Money Laundering, bribery, and failure to register as a Foreign Agent.
Probably he is trying to single out Donald Trump. He is Powerful and he is not getting a fair shake.

His "crime" was that he was Donald Trump's campaign manager for 30 days in 2016 during the period between the primaries and the convention.
For that, he was imprisoned for being an unregistered foreign agent.
If it was bad enough for Manafort, it's bad enough for Hunter Biden, too.

The Hunter Biden situation is 0 importance.
It is serving only to let GOPe pretend they have no responsibility to stop Trump indictments. They could impeach Garland. They could impeach the entire prosecution team.
It would never hold up, but it would buy time.
Would be the runaway favorite to win a contest to make the most outrageously false statement possible.
Every single one of them are on the take, not defending is akin to asking for your own arrest.
