Yeah, what started the fires? Was it arson? Was it a lit doobie? Maybe it was friction caused by “climate-Change” winds blowing harder and hotter across the dry grass than any wind in the history of the planet. (I would suggest it could be the “vaccines” except that the “vaccines” can do no harm ... or so assure the “experts”.) Will we ever solve this mystery?!

What kind of grasses? Will cows eat it? Hawaii could become a great livestock raising island. Reminds me of an old Victor Mature movie with Betty Grable, SONG OF THE ISLANDS(1942)
“O-O’Bryan, has gone Hawaiian...”

What the Bible calls “Tares” among the wheat.

Abandoned farms that used to cultivate pineapple and other crops.

Go green and burn the place down left logic indeed.

Lahaina is a fairly upscale coastal tourist town. It’s just a little south of the big resort area of Kapalua, IIRC (where the Ritz-Carlton is, among others).

But it’s on the dry windward side of the island, and dry season can be a big fire hazard time. This is not a new story, it’s just a little worse than normal, and a lot more hyped for all the obvious political gain angles.

Correct. Plains grass grown, and plowed under, are what make (for example, Iowa) farmland so fertile.

As an aside, when settlers were settling America, they gravitated to the most fertile areas and built civilizations. But their towns grew into massive metropolitan areas and now, some of our best farmland is underneath tons of concrete and steel.

Detroit, New York, etc.

My guess is that it’s too labor intensive to be profitable because of minimum wage laws.

What’s amazing about that video - these buildings do not have a lot of trees/grass in and around them. They are typical American dense towns covered by pavement, roads, parking lots, driveways, etc....

I can only assume that it is an extremely windy season in this place, to carry a fire from building to building

There was a hurricane close by and a high pressure system too
The difference in pressure caused every strong winds

WLT REPORT...

NOAH’S COMMENT: And the biggest story that is capturing my attention is the absolute destruction of Lahaina Town in Maui.
Does this look like just a normal fire to you?
How did it start?
Why did it burn like an inferno?
Or was it more like the DEW attacks we saw in CA and CO?
You decide:

Maui Destroyed By Fire, Lahaina Town Completely GONE!

Think the Great Chicago Fire of 1871. Densely packed wooden structures and high winds. One gets going and off it goes til it runs out of fuel.

More land and a much lower cost of living.

The ups and downs of globalist trade.
Personally, I love pineapples.
Only fruit with bromelain I know of...

Are all the politicians in Hawaii stupid?

Did they have a laser-like focus on serving the people of Hawaii, or were they just coasting?

Three things in nature that start fire:
Lightning
Volcanos
Man
So far I have not seen which of these started the fires on Maui. . I suspect the first one or possibly the last one since I have not heard of any volcanic activity in Hawaii lately.
I seriously doubt Climate Change sparked the alien species of grass to suddenly combust.
