BTW, general anesthesia would be very unusual in the case of colonoscopy. Normally just sedation, specifically conscious sedation or sometimes monitored anesthesia care (MAC) or deep sedation. All these require a driver (and most don’t permit Uber, etc).
Whatever kind of sedation she was given, she certainly was not fit to drive, LOL.
