I’ll be damned. I made a SWAG on this years ago. Water vapor is a byproduct of a catalytic converter. So by getting rid of leaded gas, did we help cause this??

So water is also a byproduct of hydrocarbon combustion, not just a byproduct of a catalytic converter.

I fail to see how getting rid of leaded gas is tied to catalytic converters.
