- More extensive damage to normal cars when EVs hit them
- More deaths in normal cars when EVs hit them
- Cannot extinguish EV fires on the road
- Fire departments must buy many dunk-tanks to extinguish EV fires
- Increased house fires
- Processing and treatment of chemicals and water used to extinguish EV fires is required - cannot dump the water into the sewer without treatment
- Parking garages will need to be reinforced or number of EVs parked in them limited
- African child labor to mine cobalt
- High toxic waste streams from batteries; limited recycling of EV batteries (today)
What's not to like?
