Arkanside?
Passenger.
Was he a friend of the Clinton’s.?
Obama General?
Who cares?
You’re right. I misread it, but no mention of a pilot.
Apparently his life or death didn’t warrant a sentence…
Back in the day when we trusted our government, when the government didn’t resent criticism and didn’t try to prosecute and persecute honest citizens, when it didn’t consider dissent to be treason, and lying and fraud wasn’t its stock in trade, people died in accidents and that was all it was. Now, there is always doubt, and one wonders if the victim had the wrong politics or crossed the wrong agency. You can never be quite sure. How did we get here? And where will it end?
Actually, he was the pilot. I need more coffee before posting.
Probably a lethal case of weekend pilot syndrome, perhaps with a touch of gonna-fly-today-itis as well. Especially among older pilots, essential skills tend to decay unless they are exercised frequently enough to remain fresh. Since the sky and airplanes want to kill pilots, all it takes is a small mistake to end up dead.
Lol, you win. More coffee for us both.
I’m not sure how I missed “piloted”…
We had a saying in the Air Force:
There are old pilots,
There are bold pilots,
But there are no old, bold pilots.
It’s adding that Z coordinate to the X & Y that causes the issues.
Was he a friend of the Clinton’s.?
Clinton mechanics “inspected” the plane pre-flight.
Good old Millard was a congressman, and then a senator from Maryland.
Just like they took out Patton in an ‘accident’.
He was also an Army Aviator.
36 years...he would have come in after Viet Nam and during Reagan years. If still on active duty that means he at least tacitly supported the current filthy DOD orthodoxy. If retired then RIP.
