Sound of Freedom" continues to surprise, appearing on more than 4,000 screens as the number of theaters showing the hit film continues to climb for the fourth consecutive weekend.

Despite its difficult subject matter, the independent film from Angel Studios dominated the summer box office, as total domestic box office revenues surged past $130 million and the movie played in 3,411 theaters entering its fourth weekend.

"Everyone in the industry knows that films are generally supposed to lose screens week over week, not add them," Brandon Purdie, Angel Studios' head of theatrical distribution, said in a news release. "And yet, the incredible word of mouth driving 'Sound of Freedom' continues to spread

In a time of deceit telling the truth is a revolutionary act (Orwell). And the less you hear it, the greater the desire to (me).

It would be great if it wound up earning more than the woke femtard garbage of the worst/last Indiana Jones movie.

I just looked. I can’t believe Barbie has made 258 million in the United States in 7 days. Although, Sound of Freedom has made 136 million in 24 days.

Both movies made big bucks.

It’s possible. Indiana Jones is at 339 million. I think it has a chance.

The movie has God’s hand upon it. I wish I could go but I’ll wait until I can purchase it.

They basically pulled it from theaters when Cruise’s movie came out, so as not to crater.

There were no theaters showing it in my area this weekend when I looked last week, now there are multiple. We are going with our grown daughters. Can’t wait.
One has been brain washed by the feminazis and Marxists. Should be interesting to see.

Pretty much every girl in America is going to be taken to see Barbie. Mothers grew up with Barbie dolls and want their daughters to experience Barbie as well. Just the way it is.

Any freeper who hasn’t seen it should make an extra effort to go. A few of us are not as young as they used to be and plead age as a reason not to go to a theater. Fair enough, but when it goes to streaming, buy it. Don’t just wait to stream it for free. Buy it. Vote with your wallet.

” I can’t believe Barbie has made 258 million in the United States in 7 days.”

When I went to see “The Sound Of Freedom” and the Barbie movie was playing at the same theater.

Most of the Barbie attendees were moms with their kids but a close 2nd was Gen-Zers all dressed in pink.

GROSS.

Very true.

My parents gave me a massive Barbie collection as a child (I was a spoiled Princess) for Christmas one year. I had the townhouse, camper, several Barbies and a Ken.

Was good for about a year, then I was bored. It was much more fun playing chess with my father and building with Legos. Gave everything to my little sister.

I bought my own daughter Barbies. She was more interested in playing with the horse and dog that came with them.

A shame. They took an iconic toy and destroyed it with woke, man-hating stupidity. I’m not wasting my precious money on that.
