The survey is among the latest to show Trump not only leading the crowded primary field but doing so with support from a majority of registered Republicans.
He leads the Republican primary field with 54 percent among Republicans and those who lean Republican, followed by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who comes in a distant second, 29 points behind with 25 percent support.
Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley and former Vice President Mike Pence are tied with four percent support each, followed by South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott and former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie with three percent support. Another two percent choose anti-woke businessman Vivek Ramaswamy, and the remaining candidates garner zero percent support.

The survey was taken July 13-17, 2023, among 2,056 U.S. adults and has a +/- 2.2 percent margin of error. That included 1,809 self-identified registered voters with a margin of error of +/- 2.3 percent. Further, the survey included 727 Republican and Republican-leaning voters, and that has a +/- 3.6 percent margin of error.
Notably, the field dates came prior to Trump announcing that he is the target of the January 6 investigation and must appear before the grand jury in four days.

To those that can’t stand Trump and could never vote for him. These people can’t see what’s going on around them. There will have to be more crime victims and a promise to fix it rather than an understanding or acceptance of the perps.

Maybe off topic, but Mark Levin’s show tonight is really a “must watch”!
He NAILS the Bidens for their treasonous corruption, and his last guest, Peter Schweitzer (sp?) details their deep ties to the CCP!
I am not one bit worried about the Democrats. The Illinois Republican Party is try to take down Trump in Illinois. It the Slimy, scummy GOP Are the ones you gotta watch!
Anyone with working grey cells supports Trump.
I’m kinda shocked how many Americans are brain dead.
Phony Viek at 2 percent, I thought he was rising.
I will only support candidates that are committed to destroying NeoCon/Deep State power over us.
Only Trump and maybe Vivek are so committed. Ron DeSantis has not taken this stance, which means he is with the Deep State.

Do you have a link?
You can’t win the general with only 54 percent of the republicans voting for you. He needs higher numbers. They all do actually.
👍😊👍
Viek is a globalist faulse flag. Check out his record on vaccines.
It’s Trump and no one else.
Kash Patel too.
Trump was the nominee as of Jan 7, 2020 if he chose to run.
He did.
The also rans are fighting for what will be at most 30 some percent of the vote when it’s all said and done.
Trump made a complete mess of things during his first term, fell for the democrat’s trickery, put morons in his administration, contributed partly to the inflation we have now, and gave us Biden. If Trump was so great, why is the country in such bad shape so soon after he left office? The U.S. is further left and less God-fearing compared to 2015. In the likelihood Trump loses the general, there might never be another republican president, so the current SCOTUS wins will become moot. And even the conservative SCOTUS is thanks more to McConnell for setting it up for Trump.
But if you want to call people that would prefer to win and possibly turn this mess around “brain dead”, have at it.
If Trump chose to drop out..what do you think would happen?
It depends on how he would drop out. If he were dignified, he could step down for the good the country, endorse someone who fights the good fight, and ask his voters to move on. If he stays in self-absorbed victim mode, claims he’s being forced out, his supporters would keep supporting him, and Republicans could lose House, Senate, and presidency.
Assuming the election is fair.
DeSantis, at this moment, is the only one who has double digit numbers. So, i’m guessing he would be the one we should all get behind?
Or...
Perhaps DeSantis.. If he were dignified could step aside for the good the country, endorse someone who fights the good fight, and ask his voters to move on?
1. You brought up Trump dropping out, not I.
2. I wasn’t aware Desantis was currently dealing with multiple indictments.
