Hilarious? First, Trump lost, and for the several midterms, he basically lost--2018, 2022. DeSantis, on the other hand has NEVER lost an election. His last was a 20 point landslide win.

Ehh.... you must know by now that I am torn on this issue...BUT...
I do feel that Trump is our best hope and best option for defeating the DS Marxists in the next election (sans another steal)..... which is really ALL I CARE ABOUT.
And despite the asinine name-calling, hyperbole, bullying and childish behavior from Trump, I still believe that he has the best chance of winning... and/or of beating the damned leftist Democrats.
Therefore, I stand by what I have always said... that I will back Trump 1st (unless he pulls some really heinous stunt that pisses me off between now and then) and DeSantis as my 2nd choice and backup plan. I strongly urge others to do the same.
I never lost a pool game until I ran into someone who was better than me.
—> First, Trump lost
That right there is your problem.
Once you break with reality, you’re a sucker for any narrative.
Florida ain’t the whole country
Trump didn’t lose an election either. He didn’t lose 2022, the stupid GOPe couldn’t get their message right on abortion. Instead of buying into the Dems position they should have been pushing the 10th amendment and been laughing at protesters in NY, DC and CA for being so stupid they didn’t know they have full access to kill their babies. They should have offered to pay moving costs to any baby killer to move to a state that promotes baby killing. Don’t blame that on Trump…….unless you are one of those furious about after action birth control aka abortion.
In case you missed the detail on DeSantis “amazing win”
Crist was a weak candidate having previously lost a Senate & a Governor race. He switched from R to D. Republicans had out-registered Democrats by roughly 270,000 Floridians since the prior cycle. There is also the $ factor. Ron’s backers no doubt had a plan to set Ron up for an immediate Presidential campaign.

DeSantis raised an astounding amount of cash for a gubernatorial race, which is one of the reasons that the political world is abuzz over whether he’ll run for president in 2024.
DeSantis broke a gubernatorial record in fundraising, according to the nonpartisan money-in-politics research organization OpenSecrets. His political action committee, Friends of Ron DeSantis, raised nearly $206 million as of November 2, according to the Florida Department of State Division of Elections.
Crist raised almost one-seventh the amount of his challenger. He reported raising $31 million through his campaign and PAC, according to the Miami Herald.
DeSantis can thank Trump for why he never lost an election. He has a dud voice and a dud ability to connect with people.
