Other than reading about blood libel on the Internet, I've never come across anyone who has ever mentioned it or even knows the history of that myth.

The real libel here is trying to smear Jim Cavieziel with it. They try to smear Jim as an antisemite and "Q-Anon" theorist without any evidence whatsoever.

I think the term “blood libel” was also used by Wasserman Schultz today against RFK Jr. People on the left often use obscure terms. It’s often a bluff. The person using the term does not know what it means. The person hearing the term does not want to admit their ignorance. It’s hard to defend oneself from an accusation that one does not understand.

I agree completely. Again, you have the bandying about of poorly understood terms. People intend “antisemite” to mean anti-Jewish, but in fact there are semites who are not Jewish. Who really knows anything about Q-Anon? Certainly not the people who make the accusation.
