He’s innocent..you can’t kill someone who OD’s.
Foyd, who was Black, died on May 25, 2020, after Chauvin, who is white, pressed a knee on his neck for 9 1/2 minutes.
Pure BS.
You are arguing with a liberal.
Not true whatsoever. You don't appear to either know the facts of the case or don't comprehend them. Chauvin did absolutely nothing wrong or out of policy. He was convicted because we, as a nation, are far too fearful of black temper tantrums.
My review and commentary from LEOs etc on FR was that Chauvin didn't apply the move correctly. Further his demeanor and attitude on tape speaks volumes to his character.
A competent cop, especially one who was in control of his emotions, would have neutralized Floyd - drugged up etc - without the theatrics. It happens daily in America, with competent LEOs dealing with drugged out citizens and people with cameras watching and filming. I suspect PLENTY of addicts die in custody without accompanying riots and destruction of property, because the cops Do Their Jobs.
While it's clear to me that Chauvin was guilty of manslaughter, I don't think he could get a fair trial in MN. Many of the charges were basically a dog piling. Indeed, Attorney General Ellison's amended charge (to include unintentional second-degree murder under the felony murder doctrine, alleging that Chauvin killed Floyd in the course of committing assault in the third degree) is strained at best, if not overtly political.
A competent policeman would have subdued Floyd, cuffed him, and driven him to jail without incident. Instead, we got a 9 1/2 min training film on how NOT to serve and protect.
As for everyone falling all over themselves about the “lethal” fentanyl level, didja ever hear of rock stars surviving ridiculous amounts of drugs? Maybe Floyd would have died of an OD in custody. We will never know, because of some cowboy who ushered in the defund movement. Thanks pal.
All that said, a hearing is prudent. And perhaps negligence is more appropriate - Chauvin didn’t intend to kill Floyd. Chauvin was simply out of his league that day.
“You are arguing with a liberal.”
I don’t look at it that way. I’m not arguing with anyone. I’m pointing out facts that may give an individual insight into what happened and maybe not what the individual was told. I feel the truth is that Chauvin didn’t care how much he hurt Floyd. Why he did the action the way he did is a personal thing with him. He may not be a good person, but he didn’t murder him, and through his own stupidity, didn’t even purposely kill Floyd. The drugs and his physiology did.
But the media and certain people have a need for race problems in this country. Hardly ever is something as it seems. And until people recognize that through their own interpretation, nothing gets better. And creating an atmosphere of hate with no truth is a step toward that third world country we try to protect ourselves from. Being a herd of cattle in a corral being corn fed is a ticket to being a beefsteak on someone else’s plate.

EXCERPTS:
The jury found Chauvin, 45, guilty of second- and third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter. Each murder charge carries a presumptive sentence of 12-and-a-half years in prison, while the manslaughter charge carries a four-year presumptive penalty, under Minnesota state sentencing guidelines.
“Once there was no longer any resistance, and clearly when Mr. Floyd was no longer responsive and even motionless, to continue to apply that level of force to a person proned out, handcuffed behind their back, that in no way shape or form is anything that is by policy,” said Minneapolis Police Chief Medaria Arradondo on April 5.
A competent policeman would have subdued Floyd, cuffed him, and driven him to jail without incident. Instead, we got a 9 1/2 min training film on how NOT to serve and protect.
Agree
if Mr Floyd simply did was he was supposed to do and simply get into the car, he’d be alive today. What you saw on that video was a man dying of a drug induced heart attack, and guys like you couldn’t that emotionally. I notice that you got the vapors over Chauvin’s “attitude” and “demeanor”, which tells me you have issues with Authority and Police in general. Well, enjoy the crime wave and lawlessness that all this caused.....all i can say.
It should be downgraded to an overdose. He was convicted because he was wearing black gloves.
He did NOT use excessive force. Everything those cops did was by the book. Now if you want to change the book, that’s a different conversation.
before, if you died resisting arrest, then that was on you...welcome to the “new” America where the criminal is coddled and protected. You cop haters have done your job well..enjoy!
the cover photo of the Minneapolis Police training book is exactly what Chauvin was doing...you cant make this stuff up.
exactly right...they got Whitey on the run and they know it...
I also tried it out by squeezing g my neck to the point that of not getting enough air, and tried talking normally- it was impossible. The co pressing totally distorted the voice- Floyd’s bodice was not in any way distorted. The cops showed the c.oseup videos of Chauvin’s knee, and at no point was it ever on Floyd’s neck- it was on his back near the neck.
The left ignored all the factual evidence, and they had their mind made up that Chauvin was going to be convicted before he trial even began. And sure enough, again, all the evidence provided by the defense was simply ignored.
Lol!
Doodle says

The size of the universe and the depths of human stupidity have no limits, and I'm not sure about the universe - A. Einstein.
Were you happy with the municipal attitude and demeanor during the lock downs? I mean, if you simply did what you were supposed to do, and if you didn’t have an issue with Authority and Police, it would have been easier.
And wasn’t it laughable how all those misinformation people got the vapors and acted emotional when those antivaxxers died from the virus? They had it coming to them, right?
Maybe you’re right. Perhaps we should always defer to the government. The State always knows what’s best. If that deplorable half of the nation simply grew up and fell in line, life would be so much better.
