I don’t know about that. Someone is the president now (obviously not Biden - I suspect Obama is calling the shots). But whoever it is using Biden as the warm body front is not going to just give that up to Newsom, Harris, or anyone else.
Think about it...all you have to do is keep somebody alive and you stay president behind the scenes. That’s a lot of power to just give up.
You seem to forget that the almost illiterate American public is voting. What happened in 2020 was no fluke but can happen again.
