I live in Hurricane Country. Lots of people use these generators down here in FL after a storm, when the power could be out for weeks.
What I propose to happen to these regulators would likely get me banned from FR, so I simply won’t say it.
And thus, punishing the rest of us in the process who know damned well to operate them outdoors.
And, of course, that’s just a cover story. The regulators are actually worried about Globull Warming or Climate Change (TM) or whatever. Stupid people.
You will endure the scheduled power outages and enjoy them.

While you’re correct, unfortunately it appears only on paper. They have given themselves such authority, which they also don’t have the right to do...but they are. Also known as lawless...but that is where we are.
