Saying that “vaping” is bad for your health is almost as nebulous as saying “gasses” are bad for your health.

The devil is in the details.

Vaping juice is typically composed of a base of vegetable glycerin or propylene glycol, or both. To that can be added flavorings, nicotine, numerous marijuana substances, potentially even legal or illegal narcotics in any combination or concentration.

The potential danger to both the user and those in proximity can and does vary widely, not to mention the amount of vape released can vary from nearly nil to room-filling clouds depending on the device, temperatures, user preferences and ingredients.

Yes, to lump all vaping products as though they are all the same is wrong. But, the ones with hideous amounts of propelene glycol and nicotine are not good-they have as much nicotine as a regular cigarette. You can buy vapes with mostly vegetable gliserine. So, this article is misleading.
