Imagine WWII bomber’s with pinup art on side and captioned.

The article actually defends drag shows on military bases, saying that practice dates back to WWII. As if some Sailor or Marine wearing a coconut bra and grass skirt for laughs is equivalent to the perversion that they're shoveling at us today.

Women was generally nurses in the US Military abroad during WWII.

I guess those GI’s playing drag, were a comic relief tool.

Quite a few soldiers brought brides home.

Nothing like what happened after the Vietnam war. Huge numbers of Thai and Vietnamese were brought home after US soldiers were discharged when we exited Vietnam.
