Special counsel Jack Smith has informed former President Donald Trump by letter that he is a target in his investigation into efforts to overturn the 2020 election, sources familiar with the matter tell ABC News.

The letter, which sources said was transmitted to Trump's attorneys in recent days, indicates that yet another indictment of the former president could be imminent -- though it is not immediately clear what kind of charges he could ultimately face.

Today it appears Trump will be indicted in Washington DC.

It’s also likely Trump will be indicted in Georgia.

Is there any chance gets a fair trial in Washington DC or NYC ??

I seriously doubt all 4 cases will be resolved by the Republican Convention next summer.

Meaning Trump will at the very least will be indicted in multiple jurisdictions, it’s also very likely he could be convicted in at least one jurisdiction.

Problem is, even in deep-red states, the capital city and its DA is often deep blue. Texas is a good example. Same is true for large cities. MO is conservative state-wide, but StL and KC ‘enjoy’ democrat DAs and mayors.

If Trump is indicted for anything in D.C. his trial has to be held there and he will be convicted, no matter the evidence or lack thereof.

The Founding Fathers did not foresee that the US capital would be taken over by haters of the Republic and Constitution. Anti-American judge and jury. If they convict (jury pool is 90% anti-Trump), SCOTUS is unlikely to overturn it. I suppose it’s possible that a rational citizen could be a juror, but a hung jury would mean a lifetime of persecution for the juror and family.
