As far as twisting your meaning? Maybe I misunderstand something. But what I saw is expectations of cheer-leading only, nevermind the pure fact that actual threads indeed break off to new threads on tangents. (Easier seen on forums where “threading” was possible, but does not seem to exist anymore anywhere.). This is not a surprise nor a breach of some code about conversation.
