That was my first call - a setup traffic accident to suck the officers into a kill zone. There is so much we do not know about this shooting. Was there more than one shooter? Was the shooter driving one of the cars or just conveniently in the area? It sure appears the shooter was prepared to kill, likely too prepared for it to have been unplanned. Who are the drivers of the accident vehicles? If Barakat was one driver, where is the other driver and do the drivers know each other? Did any of the officers have an active case against Barakat?
Nowhere in the link is there anything about details, especially when the sub-headlines use quotes when describing it as a "traffic stop".
