[Update July 14 6:35 pm]: After initially telling The Daily Beast that the Snow White set photos were fake, a spokesperson now says that the photos are in fact from the production, but are not official photos. We regret the error (and, in our mind, they still look pretty fake). The following story has been updated to reflect this fact.
People who love to be mad and loud on the internet really do just jump at any possible opportunity to get really mad and really loud—even opportunities that are very clearly produced with that exact purpose in mind.

Maybe some stories just cannot be remade and still be faithful to the original story?
So instead of the seven dwarfs, we have a ragtag bunch, and at least one of them appears to be a girl.
And another news story said , that there is no Prince Charming in this version of the story , because they want to push women’s empowerment. Snow White does not need a prince to come and save her in this updated version of the story.
So we’ll see, if next year, a politically correct Snow White is one of the biggest hit movies of the year. Or will it suffer with the ridicule such as we see in some of the comments here on Free Republic. !

I don’t believe Disney for a minute on this. So far Disney has ruined the Toy Story, Star Wars, and Indiana Jones franchise goldmines. Also, they are busy wrecking the old Disney animated classics with their woke garbage. “Dumbo”, “Little Mermaid”, “Peter Pan”, and now “Snow White”.
Snow White and the Village People?
They have recently gotten their hands on the Alien franchise.
Not that it really matters at this point...
Disney is basically Bud Lighting themselves every opportunity they get. Well, its long overdue. They had decades to course-correct on their own. Given their biggest responses to their ongoing eff-ups is blaming the fans for not liking their dreck they are pumping out, its not going to change for them anytime soon.
