The test was biased because… one plus one didn’t equal two ?
The Praxis tests to obtain teacher certification in most States are difficult if one is not prepared. Twenty-two years ago, when I took mine, there were three. Math, writing, and reading comprehension.
I remember being a nervous wreck that Saturday of the test, but ended up doing very well. It surprised me over the years how many failed them, and had to re-take them several times. Some were never able to pass and become teachers. I anticipate that sometime, perhaps in the near future, those tests will be completely eliminated in order to please those running public education, prioritizing diversity over merit.
