Having Christie anywhere near Trump, was a mistake.

Christie wanted to be Trump's AG. They go way back together. Go watch Christie's 2016 convention speech.
Christie turned on Trump at the press conference when Trump announced his AG pick ... Sessions. Go watch that press conference and look at Christie's face when the pick of Sessions was announced. That is the moment when Christie turned on Trump.
Christie had prosecuted Jared's father in the past. Did Jared nix Christie for AG?
Hindsight is always 2020, but Trump's term would have been totally different without Sessions as AG.

If Chris Christie does something, do the other thing and you’ll be okay.
And if Christie says “Trust me on this.” Decline.

Give credit to Bannon who revealed that over a year ago. Only Rand votes against him.

Putting President Trump between Christie and a buffet table is a mistake

Agreed. More & more I think when he’s elected, he needs to appoint billionaires like Vivek so they can be independent. When you have people like Desantis, Pence, Christie etc., they’re beholden to their donors. My son worked for Wilbur Ross & while he had to change parties from a Democrat to Republican, he was all about business. Unfortunately I don’t know that he’ll be around for the next term.
