"Really bizarre [fear, uncertainty and doubt] floating around Twitter that we are suppressing attendance for Sound of Freedom," AMC's Adam Aron tweeted on Saturday. "Yesterday we showed that movie 3,000 times at our 570 U.S. theatres and more than 100,000 people watched it @AMCTheatres.
Misinformation
on Twitter is astonishing.
Bots?
Haters?"

Sound of Freedom.
The AMC folk sound like some on this board that poo hoo'ed the suppression via AC first hand reports across the country.
At first I didn't suspect AMC , after this,, I do.
That’s a non-denial denial.
And since that’s what they issued, looks like there’s something to those reports.
Not doing a very good job of suppressing it.
SOF was #1 at the box office both this past Monday and Tuesday, the latest days that BoxOfficeMojo has figures on.
I think there were probably certain theaters that suppressed the movie using different tactics, but that doesn’t mean they all did or that, at least officially, were told to do that by AMC. Hard to say.
The theater I went to had all kinds of billboards and ads for every movie playing inside and outside, but absolutely nothing for Sound of Freedom.
Interesting that the folks at AMC never deny the A/C was being shut off, they just state the movie showed X number of times, etc. I have found it odd that so many liberal outlets have given the movie a bad review. Also odd that Disney shelved the movie for a few years. Read into all of that what you will.
They were SCHEDULED to show it 3,000 times, but how many times did they actually show it with, much less with the AC on?

Probably fear a law suit.
What really picks my ears up is the AMC Twitter feed that crows and swoons over all their other movies...

.. Sound of Freedom.
That’s a ‘tell’ imho.
What’s the ratio of AC failures in theaters showing Sound of Freedom versus other movies? Maybe Sound of Freedom is causing more problems because people are actually crowding the room, as opposed to Indiana Jones where an usher with a bucket of ice and a hand fan could keep the theater cool if the AC breaks.
Someone should also look into whether or not any box office fraud is being committed.
If it is, the take is more than $50 mil.
Anyone have any actual proof of this vast left wing conspiracy?
Because SOF is pulling in way more per theater than Indiana Jones. Also more per theater than Insidious the past few days.
Anyone can post garbage on Twitter, the fact is SOF is doing great.
Ok, sorry for the positive news. The conspiracy nuts can go back to moaning and groaning, and ignoring the actual box office figures.
Just cuz it failed to suppress
doesn’t mean it didn’t happen
A freeper posted his YouTube vid link here with his personal experience.
His is not the only YouTube vid either.
Doesn’t have to be ‘ vast’ for it to have been intentional by either the company or woke employees either.
As with the history of Christianity
The more it’s attacked
The more it grows
Any time the word
” mis information “
is thrown around, you can rest assured there’s fire under the smoke.
Did SOF producers make any promotional material for display in theaters?
