The weather in Idaho has been cooler and wetter this year. It was early June before my daffodils emerged from the soil. My strawberry patch is very sparse. There is exactly ONE red, ripening strawberry in the patch as of July 10th. A smaller number of tiny green ones are trying hard. Normally, I would have a quart of ripe strawberries to harvest from that patch by this point in the year. My apricot tree has exactly ZERO fruit this year. The Macintosh and Granny Smith apple trees have sparse fruit. We won't have 3 bushel baskets of apples this year. Perhaps 1/4 bushel total from the two trees. The Italian plum held its dead leaves from the Fall and the new leaves of Spring emerged along with the dead ones. Fruit is sparse on the Italian plum this year. The cherry tree has pretty good fruit. It should generate a quart of ripe cherries by mid August.
The warm weather came late this year to SE Idaho. It was July before we broke 90 degrees. The high to date has been 96. The daylight is shortening now. I don't expect to need the air conditioning for more than a couple more weeks this year.

Well the trees haven’t noticed any climate change the leaves come out and drop off at the same time every yearIn SE Idaho, the leaves turned brown right on schedule, but never dropped off the trees. Instead of naked, bare branches all Winter, we had trees covered in brown leaves. Spring arrived late. The leafing out of the deciduous trees was delayed and many had new foliage competing with the tenaciously clinging brown leaves.

Bumblebees are what I see most of .Some honey bees. If you wants bees , plant flowers that they like .
There are a bunch of other mini pollinators out there too. The bumblebees are well represented,as there are hundreds of species.

My bees are active all the time.

Since bees have been around for millions of years and have done quite well through several ice ages and warming periods, I figure they are very adaptable. If they weren’t, we wouldn’t have bees.

Hmmm. I read your response about pollinating several ways. Interesting question no matter how I examine it.

I bet this idiot wouldn't know an apiary if he were standing in the middle of it.
We just had a great Spring honey harvest. In Central Texas.
BTW it's hot here.
