I concur with your response to rlmorel post #`145.
This is my observation. I have been a FReeper for 20 year. When I see a strange comment on a thread, I usually click on the poster’s name to see when they became a FReeper.
All too often the poster with strange comments has been a FReeper for 25 years and this is my first encounter with their names.
So I have become suspicious the FR has been corrupted by those who oppose us and have managed to become a FReeper today with a sign on date that is 25 years old.
Regarding posters who like to get people riled up, my advice is this: “Do not get into a peeing contest with a skunk.”

I have become suspicious the FR has been corrupted by those who oppose us and have managed to become a FReeper today with a sign on date that is 25 years old. That is easy enough to check. I'll use you as an example.
- Click on their name to see their home page. Your sign-up date is October 1, 2005.
- Click on "In Forum" to see their posting history.
- Click on "Next Page" to go back one page. The link in the address bar will change from a first page link to "index?more" link. Yours is "more=126635512".
- Go back to half of the index number. In your case, change the first two digits from 12 to 6 and press enter. Your "more=" is now 66635512 and the first displayed post is now from 12/16/2009.
- Now cut the "more=" in half again by changing the leading 6 to a 3. Your first displayed post is now 2/11/2006, getting closer to your Sign Up Date.
- Now changing the leading 3 to a 1 brings up the message "Your query returned no results." We've gone beyond your earliest post.
- By doing this, it's obvious that you are a long-time frequent poster.
- If you were a troll using a dormant ID, your posting history would have run out long before cutting the index number in half and then in half again.
I hope this helps.

I have over 100,000 posts, and I run across people I have never met until recently who have a 1998 sign on date. I don't understand how that happens.
It seems unlikely that so many of the kind of people who signed on back in 1998 would simply lay low and then come out now with some of the things that I have read. It just seems oddly far fetched.
Any options? Sure, some far seeing Leftist could have logged on here early on and created a hundred or a thousand fake accounts to be distributed to their fellow Leftists wishing to engage in forum-based ideological warfare, and I know they play the long game better than we do, but I can't wrap my head around that.
