You’re right, we’re not. if you look at the 2016 election, you find that the Russians spent about $100k on Facebook ads that attacked both Trump and Skunk Cabbage, with the intent, I guess of ‘stirring things up.
We are a (relatively) tiny site. If the Russians are doing anything this point, it’s certainly not here. Then go back to the Twitter Files - and yes, there is no shortage of “social media influencers” paid by the US government. Are they here? Most likely. They give themselves away by the PERSONAL ATTACKS on other FReepers as that shows what they think of us, all of us, and that is that they simply HATE US and wish they had something more enjoyable to do.
Yes, I’ve picked up that vibe from a few of them.
The irrational aggression and anger from some of them also gives me pause. Especially on posts where suggestions such as consolidating all of the Uke-Rus articles, links, etc. and restricting them to one daily thread are made.
