Happy Friday Eve!
I’m not sure about the streaks either... back to a four for today...

(In the golf analog, this Par on the 14th hole keeps me at Par for the round... β³οΈ)
Does that mean the remote can come to you on its legs? That's a genius invention!!!
Welcome back to the land of the undead.
I’m sure you will get it all sorted in time. You always do. In the meantime we’re glad to have you back.
So glad to see you back here, ‘Face!
Sounds like you will be very busy for quite some time... but try not to build Rome in a day!
Hoping that your body acclimates to the altitude soon, and that you enjoy the sunshine!!
Thanks for comprehensive report! I’m glad there’s someone to drive you to the post office and the Walmart.
While my Wordle Blanks are handy, I don’t think my brain is functioning well enough to work on the game.
Many things I need are in boxes I have no clue about, but that happens when others help you pack. Pam was efficient, she’s big-hearted, and she genuinely wanted to help. But her way of packing was not my way, and as I unpack, it becomes more frustrating. But the bottom line is, I couldn’t have done it without her, so I’m grateful for the little frustrations! ;o]
With the overcast skies, I need to increase the pain pill dosage, but I have an appointment at the pain clinic here for next Tuesday, so it will all be good. When I left here, they were only open one day a week. Now they are open three. I hope I can find the MRI protocol before my appointment, because they will need it.
Anyway, I’ll wait here for a bit. It was late when I fell asleep last night, and something awakened me an hour early today, so I may have The Slows long before this day is over!
Roy’s flight from Vegas was about an hour late, and the one from Dallas was cancelled. The passengers were given hotel, food and taxi vouchers, and put on the first flight available to Little Rock on Monday. He was supposed to go to work on Tuesday, but they gave him another day off and gave him a different run. So even that was a blessing in disguise.
It seems odd to be here without Sharon, but Annette was almost a close. She’s more laid back than Sharon was, but she helps so many other people, I hate to add to the wear and tear on her car.
She’ll be here around 0900.
I hate moving. As a Brat we moved every 2Β½ years.
Slowly, but surely, you will get settled in and things will get more and more comfortable!
I didn’t mind it (I’ve moved over 100 times) when I was still able to do it and have a bed at the end of the first day, but this is pushing me just a little too much.
I need to put my shoes on and head for the dumpster with a load of paper and boxes. Then I’ll come back and start another batch of boxes and not quite so much paper!
This is true! It’s not as if I’ve never moved before! LOL!
One step at a time.
(I just wish I knew where my clean jeans were....)
I try to take my life one day at a time, but lately they’ve all been ganging up on me.
Good to see you back on here! Iβm sorry to hear that the unpacking is a bit of a challenge. If I lived closer, Iβd come help.
Keeping you in my prayers to be comfortable, content and pain-free.
Thank you! And thank you for the virtual offer of help with unpacking. It will happen, little by little!
My friend Annette will take me to the shelter to get a cat, soon! I want to minimize the amount of paper rustling and boxes being opened and flattened, as I don’t want to traumatize the kitty!
Iβm sure you will get it all sorted in time. You always do. In the meantime weβre glad to have you back.
Thank you! In some ways, it's hard to believe I'm here, but in other ways, it's like I never left.
I'm just seeing lots of familiar faces here, and that's always good! ;o])
Yeah, we don’t recycle the undead very frequently.
Most of the Undeaders are too valuable to recycle!
It’s a muggy day here, and in Cabot, I could get away from it. Not here. No A/C in the place, yet, just a swamp cooler and it’s no help at all.
I did accomplish a couple of things: I found my house and mailbox keys, and the booklet that has everything packed and where (for the most part.)
It was sweet of the older Gennamins to put my stuff in the biggest closet, as well as in the bedroom, but I just realized why I’m having such a difficult time trying to put things away. The space is already taken by boxes!
And things like books are on top shelves where I can’t get them down without the possibility of hurting myself.
Also, there is a cupboard/armoire/bookcase in the kitichen that was left by the last tenant, and though it’s pretty, I’m not sure that I want it or will use it.
I’m trying to make space in the kitchen, but I need more room out here. My fault for going to the USPS and Walmart today. Maybe I can shift some things...tomorrow!
Happy to see you’ve made it back to Hurricane safely, and are getting settled in. There’s good folks in town might could lend you 2 or 3 upstanding young men to help you un-stack and park your heavier items where you envision them going.
Keeping in the 80’s through Friday, then warming through the weekend up to the high 90’s by Monday.
My iron shot from the fairway fell a bit short, and landed me in a bunker, but my wedge was faithful and true, and had the distance to get to the hole for the birdie.

Yep, I’ll see what I can do on Sunday as there may be someone ready to lend a hand for a few minutes.
There always seems to be someone around looking for “service projects,” even if the project is very small.
One of the reasons I love it here so much!
