Reality dictates. And the reality is, there are 2 genders and schools are doing a HUGE disservice by trying to brainwash kids into believing otherwise. Parents, get your kids out of those schools. And taxpayers, defund them. If they don’t like it, then march on the schools and shut them down.
In this case, I’d say it’s dark money talking.
Will 84% in Fairfax vote against the Democrats next time? Don’t hold your breath. You claim that the Democrats have been pushing this stuff on our kids and you will get blasted by the die hards as a “conspiracy theorist.” They voted this stuff in. They oppose it, but will vote it in again.
If EVERYONE pulled their kids from public schools they lose state funding...pull all your kids then regroup and stop paying your taxes. I’m fed up with paying for sexulizing children....
RE: If EVERYONE pulled their kids from public schools they lose state funding.
OK, it’s not that simple. You have to pay tuition to a private school of your choice and STILL pay property taxes for the public schools whether you like it or not.
Democracy dies with Democrats.
No quick summary could ever describe how depraved Fairfax County schools are. Even the right-wing news media understands only about 1% of it. But there is an error here: unless they’re referring to a different case, the tranny bathroom repeat sex offender was from a neighboring school district.
Why don’t the 84% elect a new school board that aligns with their views?
“the majority doesn’t always dictate.”
Yes, we all remember the 2020 election.
I am fed up with the whole left wing!
The majority gets to decide whether to throw their WOKE ass off the Board come election time. Rather than killing the policy, I rather see the idiots who introduced it thrown off the because they will keep introducing other insane policy initiatives.
Bttt
Too bad. What’s more important, your children or your wallet?
Parents who allow their kids to attend public school do not love them.
Where people are making a mistake is in assuming that the polls put out by school districts are meaningful. Those polls are what they call push polls. They are intended to shape opinion, not measure it. They aren’t interested in what the public thinks. I think that the push polls polls are part of the Delta method of public opinion shaping.
Another part of this method are public meetings, where they divide the crowd into groups, where they are told to discuss issues or statements which are placed on the Black board and then the group leader (pre-assigned) will deliver the group’s opinion statement. Potential troublemakers are identified ahead of the meeting and the assigned group leaders are supposed focus on changing their opinion. In the end, if the dissenters have still not changed their mind, they are given a job to do, which makes them a part of the movement, instead of a part of the opposition.
Schadenfreude.
I doubt the board members get paid a regular salary as they are elected, not employees. The superintendent is an employee of the board and is paid. Board members typically have expenses reimbursed when attending a conference or representing the district at a legislative session, for example.
In this case, I’d say it’s dark money talking.

You can bet it comes from one of Soro’s foundations
So let me get this straight.
The voters elected people to represent them. Then those representatives did everything they could to oppose everything that the voters wanted them to do.
And the voters will continue to reelect those same representatives over and over again?
Insanity.
You have to start somewhere-—things won’t change unless we force change-—peacefully. Even if they all pulled their kids and homeschooled them. Unless we make sacrifices the left will never stop——So either way, you will be inconvenienced.
