They don’t need to raise tuition. The interest on that alone would more than pay for everything.
You can bet your shorts they still will rqise tuition, and use dropping donations as an excuse. As mentioned, none of the bloat will be dealt with, and will probably still be expanded until people stop attending. A Diploma from Harvard is worth bupkiss now, anyway.
Besides, smaller colleges with much smaller endowments also have legacy programs, and that is where the damage will be done.
