Well, it was another banner week from the six unelected zealots who apparently make all of America's public policy decisions.

They're actually ruling on the legality of public policy decisions, which is their Constitutional role.

I get the clear impression that we have multiple generations of Americans who have no idea what the Constitution is or how the US government is supposed to work.

Democracy is fine as long as the Democrats (aka Marxists) are in charge. All hell breaks loose when the other side gets a say.

"...six unelected zealots..."

Had the decisions gone the other way, they'd be venerated as courageous heroes. Such is the fate of those who actually read the law and tell us plainly what it really means.

“Democracy” is mob rule; we’re a Constitutional Republic (”If you can keep it”.).

I love it when these turds get all wee wee’d up.

Greenlighting all manner of discrimination by upholding the 1st Amendment, huh?

The hysterics are hysterical.

"Democracy" is the Dems' favorite term these days, even though they just HATE free and fair elections.

Dems. Deceit is their middle name.

They might well give it a try were they in power.

I don’t believe it should be changed, but if Trump were to get elected, I would enjoy hearing him think aloud, and publicly on expanding the court, just to see the Leftist heads pop off about how unconstitutional it would be!

Entertainment trolling value only.

Oh brother. I wish someone would attack and publically break down the RAT use and definition of “democracy”. People need to understand how they are using that word to establish a one party rule and tyranny.

Not all of us around here. I wrote a lengthy piece on my writing site about that last November. I'm not humping the site and actually will not give it, but I will drop this paragraph here.

"Accompanying the administrative transformation has been that verbal transformation of the country, this constitutional republic, into a democracy, and again, Our Democracy. Moreover, the usage has evolved into elaboration on just what that means because what stands in the way of democracy has to be removed which requires highlighting how they are anti-democratic. To accomplish this, the Our Democracy cabal has settled on using three points of entry—the Electoral College, the Supreme Court, and the filibuster in the Senate."
Nevertheless, far too many go along with calling us a democracy even if they aren't using Our Democracy like the cabal. What happens from that is the same as saying Constitutional right: the incorrect becomes common usage and when we try to stop the madness and say it's a republic not a democracy;they're natural rights not Constitutional rights, we're branded as nitpickers, elitists who always have to be precise at the expense of being understood. Having Congressional RINOs and media types like the two impostors at noon who use a song about a drunk kid sleeping in his clothes as their theme regularly call it democracy, really undercuts truth.

This is an outright lie by Newsweek to help creepy Joe. He had every intention of packing the court. He had his commission and they had the judges picked. The only thing that stopped him was Mancin’s refusal to kill the filibuster. He talks like he isn’t for it now because can’t.

We are a Constitutional Republic, not a democracy.

I know, but people on all sides use the term democracy. Democratic Republic would be a more exact way of putting it. In any event, even on the writer's own terms, packing the Court is not ANYbody's legitimate definition of Democratic.

All the recent hit pieces against the court are probably an attempt at getting the public primed for something to happen to the SC. I think they will probably have to add a few states to get more reliable dem Senators first. Manchin and Sinema and perhaps a few more are blocking this for now. Maybe they eventually also do something with how the house is apportioned, to add many more representatives.

"Decades ago I actually subscribed."

Never did "Newsqueak". My go-to news mag was "US News and World Report"...but they too eventually went "politically correct", as did "Scientific American" and "Popular Science". These days, the only print mags I get are "American Rifleman" and the AAA mag...and those only because I am a member of the NRA and AAA.
