US system of pseudo justice uses “right to a speedy trial” as comedy relief.
Actually criminals use it when they threaten witnesses or their families and this delays their showing up. So prosecution has to release the criminals.
We have a system that benefits the guilty.
3 or 4 months ... that will teach them to not riot for at least 3 or 4 months.
They’re probably already planting vegetable gardens on the island.
Within a few days, scum are actually arrested and actually convicted.

I’d say they got off light. In our riots here in the US, like January 6, they just shoot them with no provocation.

4 months is nothing. Send them back to Africa. That will stop the riots.
Might be speedy “Justice” but I seriously doubt a fair trial can be carried out in 72 hours by US standards. Be careful what you wish for based on who is in charge these days.
I also note that US "standards" have changed recently.
