The WNBA is the poster child for affirmative action. The league LOSES money and has to take money from the NBA just to survive.

Yep that’s true. Girls basketball just isn’t nearly as popular as the guys, either in college or the pros.

If the women’s NBA had to survive financially on its own, it would have gone out of business long ago.

There’s just not a huge fan base for women’s basketball. Not saying if that’s good or bad but it’s just a fact.
