What utter bullshit!

It might be true. Interesting wording here. Is Ms. Blackwell saying that women are taking on debt because they cannot achieve what men can without a degree? Or is she saying that women are unnecessarily taking on debt despite their being able to do just as well as men at their jobs?

The claim, which I question, is that women don’t get the opportunity to do jobs they can well do unless they have more educational credentials than men. Again, I doubt that.

Within the context of the article, she is claiming that women must go into debt to obtain a degree so they can attempt to get where their non-degreed male counterparts easily get to (oh the patriarchy!).
