Black women are particularly affected by student loan debt, this under the guise of ALL WOMEN WILL SUFFER. They got thier message across
To: Oldeconomybuyer
women make up more than half of the college educated labor force I think they are trying to tell this as yet another way in which the Patriarchy keeps women down.

Women hold nearly two-thirds of the country’s student loan debt, owing $929 billion of the $1.54 trillion student debt, according to the American Association of University Women (AAUW)Tough. What are women studying? I’m positive they are all in engineering, business, and science programs. /s
America would be better off if they were married, barefoot and pregnant. Yes, seriously. Most women study leftist junk in college. Just about anything is better than that.

What I could never understand about the state of today's education is how tuition could be in the tens of thousands for a semester, but meanwhile the Professors at said institutions are still claiming poverty in their pay rates. Surely something is amiss here, someone is garnering a fortune while others are supposedly starving.
I don't get it.

if you took away every female doctor, lawyer, politician, or journalist, the United States would get along just fine. This is all being done to “prove a point”....and its stupid.

“That’s a pretty substantial amount of money that women are taking on in many cases to just sort of achieve what men don’t even need to have a degree to achieve,” Gloria L. Blackwell, CEO of AAUW, tells TIME. What utter bullshit!

The Supreme Court really needs to get this one right.
There is no way this is not a budgetary allocation, and therefore there is no way that the president can do this on his own. It should be an easy decision for the sentient justices.

College professors at legitimate schools are not complaining these days. They know they have one of the greatest scams in history going.

Who cares.
SOOO tired of “women and minorities hardest hit”.
Here’s an idea, DEMAND that the universities lower thier cost for a degree.
DEMAND that the price a degree based on the real world market. If you can’t get a job in your chosen field for more than 40k a year, And your 65k in debt, Then they charged you too damned much.

The teaching faculty-to-student ratios are about the same as they have always been.
When I went to college, we had a Dean of Men and a Dean of Women.
Now they have 57 different deans, one for each of the different genders that they claim exist.
It's college/university administration that has become bloated, dysfunctional and grossly overpaid. One of the ways (besides tuition inflation) that they pay for this is using a lot of part-time faculty, which they underpay.

Shame on the universities and colleges that sell unmarketable degrees in exchange for loan money that no sane person could ever imagine is repayable.
It’s predatory.

There is no way this is not a budgetary allocation, and therefore there is no way that the president can do this on his own. Exactly. If the President can pick and choose how government funds are spent, there's NOTHING they can dream up--they can spend funds on ANYTHING. Any cause at the moment where they believe it'll help them politically.

When I went to a NYS College, back in the late 70's, I think I paid some $10,000 for the entire 4 years ... then went on to earn nearly a million in my working career.
My Dad set me straight about the whole affair, he said: "You didn't learn anything practical in those classrooms, but you *did* learn how to become a critical thinker". Dad was right.

These idiots. They want to make others suffer for their bad choices so that they won't?
That's not how life or our Constitution works.
Your choices = Your consequences.
Fact.
