Oh, good grief. These judges are chosen by State legislatures and rubber stamped by Presidents.

The judge knows very clearly he is a dead man if he rejects the plea. He will die and all his family right down to the dog.

Biden’s controllers are not playing around.

The judge’s ethics are now on trial.

For the Freeptards with TDS...

"Between 2005 and 2014, Noreika donated $15,500 to candidates across the political spectrum, per Federal Election Commission records.

Those donations include $5,200 to Sen. Tom Cotton’s (R-Ark.) 2014 Senate campaign, $5,000 to Mitt Romney’s 2012 presidential campaign, $2,300 to John McCain’s presidential run in 2008, and $1,000 to former Sen. Rick Santorum (R-Pa.) in 2006.

On the Democratic side, Noreika donated $1,000 to Hillary Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign and $1,000 to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee in 2009, according to the FEC."

In the meantime, an equal and opposite reaction is happening on the other side.

The judge is under intense pressure from the left to implement the “punishment”..

Where the republicans will demand investigations and will write letters, the left will destroy the judge financially, career-wise, will crush the judges families and will arkancide them if necessary to get their way.

Who do you think will win that battle?

Instead of mouthing off to the press, these jerks should write friends of the court briefs. The left does it. This POS getting a complete walk is a joke.

4 weeks to demur this plea deal. More than enough time. Subpoena Weiss to Judiciary.

"And in an interview to be aired Thursday on the John Solomon Reports podcast he detailed how career agents, career prosecutors, the DOJ tax division and lead U.S. Attorney David Weiss supported charging Hunter Biden with felonies alleging tax evasion and avoidance all the way back to 2014 totaling $2.2 million, including failing to pay taxes on $400,000 in income he got from the Ukrainian energy firm Burisma Holdings.

Shapley said President Joe Biden’s son was spared the more serious charges when the U.S. Attorneys in Washington D.C. and Los Angeles – both appointed by Biden – declined Weiss’ request for an indictment and then the statute of limitations on the older alleged offenses were allowed to expire."

Bless your heart, and bless those rubber stamps.

Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson (R, WI), fights The Good Fight. Of course, he’s an Army of One, so there’s that. :(

So many forget that Senator Johnson is the one that pushed Hillary! over the edge in the Benghazi hearings when she shouted famously, ‘At this point, what does is matter?!?!’

We might see some action on this. One remains hopeful for the demise of the Brandon Crime Family.

In plea situations both parties are on the same page. The Court goes along about 98% of the time. Outside parties usually don’t have standing except “true victims,” which doesn’t mean republicans.

Of course, wasn’t it General Flynn’s case that Judge Sullivan refused to allow to be dismissed after the truth of his railroading came out? Or is my memory playing tricks on me? ‘Course, he was a Trumpie.

"Liberal immunity". I think that just about sums it up. From the top of the pyramid with Bill and Hillary, through labor unions, to wild-ass rioters in the streets. All are protected by the umbrella of liberal immuinty.

I am going to use that.

Your memory is correct. Judge Sullivan should have been removed from the bench after that fiasco and his open and obvious bias against General Flynn.

Yes and no. Whenever a plea deal is reached, the government and the defendant are always on the same side in asking the court to approve it. If it’s contrary to the interests of Justice, the judge is under no obligation to approve it.

I know nothing of Judge Noreika, except she’s a Democrat appointed by Trump. Remember how these work: typically,
But not always, the nominations are suggested by the senators of the state where the court sits. So she could be a hard core leftist appointed by a Republican president.

Still, this is the most important moment of her life: if she fancies herself as having integrity, she absolutely cannot approve this deal without conducting an evidentiary hearing. We’ll see how she reacts to this moral challenge

The Left influence judges by using blackmail, payoffs, threats of violence against them and their family, promises of career advancements. The GOP writes stern letters. The outcome is predictable.

“Oh, good grief. These judges are chosen by State legislatures and rubber stamped by Presidents.”

You have no idea what you are talking about.

These are federal judges and the selection process has nothing to do with state legislatures. Article II, §2 of the U.S> Constitution delegates to the POTUS the sole and exclusive authority to appoint federal judges with the advices and consent of the senate.

Historically, the U.S. Senators in the state where a federal district court is located makes a recommendation to the POTUS for the appointment of a federal judge to that district. If both senators are from the same party, then the recommendation is usually unanimous and accepted by the POTUS. If the senators are from different parties and recommend different candidates, then the POTUS will usually accept the recommendation from the senator who is in the same party as the POTUS. This process is not governed by law or rule, but rather, is customary.

In may instances, Trump chose not to follow this custom and was criticized for not doing so. In the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, for example, Trump nominated four judges, but only one with the approval of Schumer and Gillibrand. In contrast, in the Eastern District of New York, all four of Trump’s nominees had Schumer’s and Gillibrand’s blessing, and two had previously been nominated by Obama. And Trump’s only appointment to the Western District of New York was recommended by Republican Christopher Collins.

As for Delaware District Court Judge Maryellen Noreika, the Republican’s controlled the senate at the time of her nomination. Trump could have nominated a Republican, but chose a Rat instead. FYI: This is the judge who ruled against John Paul Mac Isaac in his defamation case against CNN and Hunter Biden re: laptop.
