I would think that back th3n, if she had a dangalie thang, that it would have gotten around, and she woulda been kicked off- hard to keep something like that a secret.
Being insulted by a reporter is ridiculously trivial compared to doing hard time in a Russian prison.
I am stunned she? did not develop a thicker skin after her Russian “visit”.
I am probably in a very small minority here, but I think Alex Stein is not only wrong but what my mother would call a ‘Sorry young man’.
He sounds like the type, that every time he gets a beer or three in his system starts yelling at young women, “Show us your -——”
Brittney Griner was simply trying to get on an airplane, which is part of her job and should not be harassed by a rude attention grabber looking for his 15 minutes of fame.
Brittney Griner & the WNBA? Hell I do not like Basketball, period.
We need trolls like Alex Stein because he is actually standing up to the Left and questioning them.
Have you seen the questions our reporters have been asking the President lately? "What kind of ice cream did you eat today, Mr. President?"
Stein called Griner “he” during incident. Hilarious.
This is good. Here is an interesting issue no one is talking about. How long before a few almost NBA level players can’t get an NBA contract so they decide they want to play in the WNBA?
The guy was being an arse... Thick skin or no, I don’t believe her complaining to the league about the incident is unjustified.
I am sure, just like any sports player who goes out in front of a crowd night after night, she’s been heckled plenty over her time in sports.
Being harassed as you walk through an airport like this jacka$$ did, is another matter.
No different than when the leftwing folks go into a restaurant to harass some politician who’s having a meal, etc.
I don’t agree with this woman’s politics at all, but there is no reason to be an arsehole like this guy was being.
Yes, there is a point in our lives (usually as children) where we dream of being rich and famous etc...
However, I thank God that was not my fate in this life, particularly in what this society has become. It was bad enough decades ago, now with social media and everything else its a 1000 times worse.
She should have clocked that jerk- The WNBA might not have helped her, but I’m sure a lot of people would have funded her defense... and shame on all of you that defended Stein. You can disagree politically without acting like.... a leftist Karen!
Well, it was definitely rock bottom for brittney!
I gotta agree. Griner is a public figure, so she really can’t complain about being singled out in public. If you don’t want the attention, don’t take that sort of job.
A fair question to her might be something about her prison time, or about how she got preferential treatment by being released early.
A question about having sex with Putin? Sure, it can be asked. But it is obviously a trash question, and by extension makes the questioner a trash person.
Anyone who might disagree should consider this. How would you feel if the same type of question was asked to some public figure you admire?
does seem to be him/her- tattoos match up to modern tattoos
LOL, her and Dennis Rodman, separated at birth!
they do seem like brother and ‘sister/brother/whatever’ lol
> No different than when the leftwing folks go into a restaurant to harass some politician who’s having a meal, etc. <
Excellent point, and something I wish I would have mentioned in my post #73.
Name two WNBA teams? I had to scroll back to figure out the Phoenix Mercury was one. I’m stumped on two.
“We need trolls like Alex Stein”
No we do not. Trolls like Alex Stein is one of the reasons the discourse in the country is in such a sorry state.
