Illinois law was upheld. Not only stand your ground, but defending someone who is being attacked. This is a good ending.
The family is filing a lawsuit against the city for 5 days of incarceration. But it was based on evidence at the time. Cell phone vids showed up and exonerated. I don’t see a big payday. But... who knows?
